I Will Always Work in the Music Industry

Music is my passion. When I was younger, I fell in love with karaoke, and I still enjoy it from time to time with my friends now. I have evolved from that though into music production, and I love creating arrangements to the songs that I write. I don’t have the best voice, though it is decent. I have talent with the arrangements of my songs though, and I knew that I wanted to learn as much as I could in the business because I wanted to have a job only in the music industry.

Even before I started my 12 month music program, I already knew that there was a lot of hard work that went into creating a song. I imagine that some people think that a person takes an hour or so and writes the song, then someone picks up a guitar or gets on the keyboards and writes music for it. That is a rare happening because the creation of a song tends to take a lot more time than that. When I started my schooling, I was surprised at just how involved it is to create a three minute song that is going to move people.

That is what I wanted, for my music to move people. I wanted them to feel something when they heard my music and listened to the words of the songs that come from my experiences, my dreams, my own heart. Going to school for 12 months went pretty fast, and I learned a lifetime of knowledge. My songwriting is much better, and the arrangements that I create now are much more meaningful and captivating. I am so excited to be on this lifelong journey, and I know that I am much better prepared because of the things I learned in my music program.
