Being a pothead is similar to any form of addiction, like cigarettes or alcohol. You know it’s bad for you, but you can’t help yourself. You really want to, but you really don’t know how to stop smoking weed. And, like any addiction, there is always hope.
The first step to quitting weed should always begin with you. You have to set a date to begin, and there’s no better time than now. You must have the support of your friends, family, and loved ones. You must be able to keep away from bad influences and triggers in your life that would make you want to relapse, such as stress, parties, or friends who smoke pot and do not want themselves, or you, to stop.
You can only quit smoking weed if you are determined to do so. It will be hard, as with any sort of addiction, but with the help and love of the people around you, you will eventually find your way to recovery, one day at a time.
